The Riviera Maya extends about 80 miles along Yucatan Peninsula, from Puerto Morelos southwards to Punta Allen and is one of the most visited Caribbean coastlines and vacation rental destinations. Arriving from Cancun International Airport, more than 3 million of tourists come from all over the world each year.

The State of Quintana Roo counts more than 1.3 million of inhabitants and has the largest population growth of Mexico up to 3.1 %. The national average is at 0.5%, and this trend is due to migration process and floating population that arrives daily in search of employment in tourist cities like Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Cozumel and Isla Mujeres.

Leaving in front of soft white beaches in a cosmopolitan atmosphere, French, Spanish, Italians, Americans, Canadians and many other nationalities are living in the Riviera Maya, and the way of life is very close to European style.

The region offers many activities to practice in family or with friends. From visiting archeological sites such as Chichen Itza, play golf, diving or snorkeling in the world’s most important underground river systems (cenotes), rent a yacht, practice kitesurfing, and enjoy Mexican and International gastronomy with a dynamic nightlife.

It is important to make the difference between the Quintana Roo State and Yucatan State. Many tourists land in Cancun thinking that they are in Yucatan.

The Yucatan State is a very special & authentic place on Earth. With a rich  architectural heritage, it offers an absolute diversity and all what we can call " Turistic Mexico ".

Haciendas reflect the economic development and history linked to the region. Built between the sixteenth and nineteenth century, these haciendas were production centers which kept the economy of colonial Mexico and later the independent nation’s economy running.

Cenotes were considered a source of life for the Maya as they provided water, the vital liquid, represented an entrance to the other world and center of communion with the gods. Nowadays, they are places of leisure, relax and bathing waters.

An easy going-sophisticated life in the Mexican Caribbean combined to your usual metropolis life is an affordable dream that can change your codes.

Playacar

Playacar is an upscale planned community in Playa del Carmen including over 10 large hotels, a well-regarded 18-hole golf course, and a smattering of condos and villas available. There are two sections of Playacar, named according to their development stages. Phase I, the first part, is on the oceanfront, while Phase II is next to the golf course.

The most desirable real estate is the Phase I waterfront area. The coastline varies depending on how far north or south you go, but generally speaking, in the Playacar area, the beaches are slightly slanted. They are lined by palm trees in places and the pure white sand and crystal clear blue waters make for spectacular views. There are even some Mayan ruins in Playacar.

If you are interested in real-estate investments, you should consider taking advantage of Tulum's affordability before the new airport increases international accessibility and awareness.

The design of the village's infrastructure, the urban development plan (PDU) and the current style of the properties show a new construction wave and RTC is proud to be part of it.

Purchasing pre-developed properties and selling when development has reached mature stages can result in margins exceeding from far, what developed markets can offers. You would be hard-pressed to find that type of return on your investment anywhere, in any industry.
